Counselling, life coaching and Psychotherapy

There are many different reasons people come to therapy.

It may be that life seems overwhelming, you might feel low, anxious, or stressed and just want someone to help.

You may feel like you keep repeating  the same old patterns and it seems impossible to break the cycle.

Relationships with partners, friends and children can be tough and you may feel you just can’t cope at times. You may have lost somebody close to you. Or it may be a curiosity or an urge to make life better, happier and more fulfilling.

Whatever the reason, I do believe that talking to a therapist can truly change lives for the better.

I work in a confidential, safe space where we can explore together where you are at the moment and where you would like to be.

I have experience in helping adults with many difficult aspects of life - these include: anxiety, bereavement and loss, depression, relationships, stress and many other challenging issues.

It is common when reaching out for professional help that you may feel like it’s weakness or you are failing - and with the stigma around asking for help this often means we feel we should be able to manage on our own so as not to show vulnerability. I believe it is brave to ask for help and a positive step towards healing.

Everyone is unique so I bring a flexible approach to our sessions, whether that is on a short or long term basis. I welcome diversity and have a special interest in dyslexia and its effects on life.

I trained at the Minster Centre. I have an MA in Integrative Psychotherapy and I am an accredited member of the UKCP, I also have a Diploma in Integrative Counselling and am accredited with BACP. I have extensive experience working with bereavement and work in a NHS funded bereavement centre in Wandsworth.

As a registered member of the UKCP and BACP I comply with their ethical framework.
.If you would like to meet with me to discuss how counselling might help you please call or email me and I will get back to you at the earliest opportunity.

My Psychotherapy is UKCP Accredited Member. Dip.Couns. MBACP

Life Coaching

In addition to my UKCP and BACP-registered psychotherapy services, I offer Life Coaching that is distinct from my psychotherapy work. My life coaching is independent of my qualifications, drawing on my life experience and skills. I'm committed to delivering a high-quality and ethical service in both practices.

Please don't hesitate to ask any questions about the differences between the two services.
